Regional Rounds
The World Scholar’s Cup journey begins with the Regional Round. Here, scholars from different schools around the local area come together to debate, write, and show their teamwork. Everyone is welcome, and no prior experience is required. Perform well, and your team earns a spot at the Global Round, where you’ll compete with scholars from around the world. Even if you don’t advance, the experience itself is an achievement worth celebrating.
Global Rounds

Next is the Global Round. This is the World Scholar’s Cup on a whole new level. Scholars from across the world gather to compete, learn, and connect with the community. If you qualified from Regionals, it’s your chance to explore a new country, meet teams from around the globe, and elevate your WSC experience.

Asimov Award
Didn’t win a medal or trophy in other events but still gave it your all? This award is given to scholars who brought in so much potential and tried their hardest. That’s still a big achievement.
Barelyold Scholars
This award goes to the younger competitors in the Senior Division, whether a high school freshman or an 8th grader, who showed up and carried the team.
