Regional Rounds
The World Scholar’s Cup journey starts with the Regional Round. This is where scholars from different schools link up to debate, write, crush quizzes, and flex teamwork. Everyone’s welcome, no experience needed. Do well here, and your squad earns a ticket to the Global Round, where you go international and compete with scholars from all over the world. Don’t make it? No stress, the experience is in itself.

Next up, the Global Round. This is WSC on a whole new level. Scholars from everywhere come together to compete, learn, and vibe with the community. Qualified from Regionals? Time to explore a new country, meet global squads, and take your WSC game up a notch.
How to Qualify for Globals:

Hit at least 18,000 points in a Regional Round

Have at least two teammates from the same school

The final and most prestigious step happens at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. Only the best squads make it here. Expect campus tours, hangouts with Yale students, and the ultimate celebration of all your hard work.
