The Debate Showcase is where the top 8 debaters from the tournament step up and show off their skills on the big stage. The next best debaters are the debate panelists, giving feedback, comments, and their insights after the debate.

• ​If you’re chosen for the Showcase, you made it! Being nervous is normal, but you’ve earned this. Speak clearly and trust yourself. The crowd is cheering for you.

• The Showcase isn't just about winning, it’s about entertaining. Drop strong points or put funny examples or  storytelling. The best debaters have facts with creativity and keep the audience hooked.

• A bigger crowd means more listeners, but talking fast can lose those people. Pause, emphasize, and make every word count. 

​

• Motions might be unusual or lean towards the affirmative or negative side more. Don't stress, but think creatively and make strong arguments. Original ideas hit harder and the audience will cheer you on.
